From delicate porcelain crafted in Germany and France to hand-painted china from Japan and the Czech Republic, each item carries its own history, character, and craftsmanship.

About Kirsten
Kirsten Rossner Buchanan, PhD, PT, ATC, believes women are many things. As a wife, mother, old-home contractor, professor, researcher, former college athlete, physical therapist, entrepreneur, athletic trainer, youth soccer coach, and, somewhat unexpectedly, a lover of antique dishes, she understands that no one is defined by a single role. Throughout it all, she has remained fascinated by the stories people carry and the connections that form when they gather.
When her youngest son gave her just ten days to organize a “pre-prom dinner grill-out” for 21 couples, she knew paper plates wouldn't do. With help from lifelong friends, she sourced antique dishes from local shops and became captivated by their history and craftsmanship. What began as a pre-prom dinner idea soon became a new passion: curating vintage tableware from around the world, each piece with its own history and character. Maine Vintage Table reflects Kirsten’s belief that some of life’s best moments are created when people share stories, ideas, and laughter around a beautiful table.
Every dish tells a story—where it was made, how it was crafted, and the celebrations it once witnessed. Like old homes, these pieces were meant to be lived with and loved. Together, they continue their story, creating new memories for generations to come.
